I’ve been stuck on the couch since last night due to pain issues and been on my pain meds. It’s not been a good day.
So I finally was in a position where Mischief could join me on the couch and not be hurting me while laying with me… and this picture is the result.

It made me smile to have him able to lay with me, and it made me laugh to realize he was “feeling me up” and the pain meds made it that much funnier!! I just had to turn the webcam and camera program I have on the laptop on and get a picture. 😀

I wish I could find a way to share yesterday and today with you… in more than just words: the smells, the tastes, the feelings.

Today has been nice – we were able to get a very cheap pizza (thank you coupons!), we laid in bed and cuddled and watched stuff, and it’s now cool and breezy outside, so I’ve got a window open, though that won’t last much longer as the sun is going down. We’ve got a chill in the air even though it’s close to 70 degrees outside… the weather is changing around, and it’s a brisk fall feeling 70 rather than the hot 70 we have during the morning during summer. I think the wind probably has something to do with that too. It’s been a cloudless day pretty much all day, other than some white puffy clouds that have floated over head a couple at a time spread throughout the day.

The one not so nice thing – my lupus has been a bit worse again today, as has my endo. However, in spite of those things I’ve been able to more or less enjoy today.

I had a bad flare after I took a walk Tuesday morning. I felt good for a couple hours, but then I started getting achy. It got way too hot in the house that day, so I woke up a couple hours after going back to sleep, and it took me a few hours to fall back asleep, so I didn’t get good sleep at all that day, though I did finally sleep for a couple hours more. I flared until I woke up Thursday morning… so I didn’t do any posts of be here now during that time…
So here are some highlights from the time that I didn’t post anything for.

-Playing with the photos I took on my walk the other day – in a program I actually get… I never got past the basics with Photoshop, so it was a waste. I use Picasa now and I’m enjoying it a lot, even though I can’t do some things I want to that I could in photoshop…. if I were using photoshop Id be bugging E, Ja or a friend (the latter two by phone or IM) for help on how to do what I want to LOL! So it’s probably not a bad thing to be using a more simple program for now…

– Watching M and E play with the toy that E bought for him

– E cooking chili! I told him that he was guaranteed I’d never leave him due to the sex and the food LMAO! Of course – there are so many other reasons (and much deeper reasons) that I wouldn’t leave him, but I don’t mind those two things being reasons 🙂

– Cuddles!

– Sleeping in a much cooler house!

– Sleep… wonderful sleep… in a cool room, with fresh air blowing in!
